Good software sampler

1. Give me a name of good free software sampler?
2. How I can take ie. record some samples from tv?

Switch on "OUT" and you have a stereo output on your TV

1. It´s maybe not a sampler, but it´s free and can be used like a sort of a sampler. Maybe you have the program I´m talking about:
Audacity!

I used this(audacity) to transfer all my old Analog cassette demos to digital quality,superb prog....

If you wish to sample "from" sources into "your PC" the hardware is way more important than software... but you rarely need them to be "that good" for general use.
If for audiophile use, you need to go from and above - and talking consumer market - Creative Labs Audigy 2 Platinum ZS... this one is studio quality 24/96k and with analog audiophile input/internal/outputs.
If you mean software, I don't use free samplers, but Kontact from Native Instruments, altough I don't consider it to be the best (as far as configs go) it's the most intuitive - all softsamplers sound as good, the sample source is the most (and unique) important thing.

http://www.rgcaudio.com/sfz.htm - if you're still looking for free sampler. It depends on what do you expect. This sampler is a soundfont player, but it can read wav files too. More info on this site above.

There is some radio-programmer programme that my boyfriend has got on his computer that one could have helped you, because it can record all sound that is on your computer.
