Would some of you Eminent 310 owners be intereseted in laying out all of the string settings of the Eminent, for Oxygene, Equinoxe and all other Jarre albums, in this one thread?
For example:

Oxygene 1: Lower Manual, Upper Manual, Attack, Sustains/Release, Volume
Equinoxe 2: Lower Manual, Upper Manual, Attack, Sustains/Release, Volume

and so on....

I know we've kinda had this before, but we've never done a comprehensive thread, alot of info is buried in pages of other threads, so it'd be good to have it all in one organised thread.

I think that would be a good idea. Since I've downloaded Reaktor and an Emulation of the Eminent ( I know it's not as the real thing but I'm a soft-synth person) I'm looking for the settings for the Oxygene & Equinoxe sounds.

Yeah it actually sounds pretty damn good, esp. when you apply some of that onboard eq.

Well you cant actually apply any env settings to the string ensemble, except for perhaps release but I've never tried that. Thought it only work on the organ sounds.

after downloading this it also had this nice Emulation of the ARP String Solina Synth

That looks actually pretty cool. Can't be anything than useful for something. But what is an ens file and how do I use it? never seen that type before

The ENS files are used for a VST called Reaktor by Native Instruments, which can be used on Cubase and maybe FL Studio.

Yup it's a pretty cool instrument, but like I said above, you've gotta use some eq on the sounds to get rid of that synthy harshness, after that it sounds pretty smooth and Jarre/Eminent like. No doubt due to the 310's cut off freq at 8kHz.

And the Eminent emulation even has some cool back panel settings:

Ok how do you load fxp files on Reaktor ?

Do you use Cubase, just use the Host window's Load.

Well I mostly use chainer. I did try and load it into the host but it didn't work

Load Reaktor 5 into Chainer, and then open up R5's gui, from the Preset menu (on the top right) load the preset. It should work perfectly.

Ok I did that and it works now. But there is a sound I'm trying to recreate and that's the Equinoxe cloud sound.

The equinoxe cloud sound?
