The tracks sound good, except that MF3/MF5 aren't that amazing to me... more like soundtrack material to CiC. Anyhow, even though the tracks are good, the versions of them on this album aren't that good to me... I really like the live and later studio versions of them insanely more.
Magnetic Fields 1 is untouched on this one though, so I have to take that over the rest. Awesome too.

I like all parts of this album, what I think MF3 needs is the Perrier solo from CiC version.
For MF4, I prefer CiC version.
Not much to say, I find the crossover between analog synthesizers and digital samplers interesting.

I like this album but had a hard time coping with the last track. It sounds too much like Swedish old Dance-music to me.

Excellent album! Among my favorites by him! Part 1 will always be one of my favorite tracks ever!
Part 5 drags the album slightly down though..

MF 1 and 4 are great. For some reason, I'm not that big fan of MF 2. But I would love to hear a good recording of the Oxygene tour version

I can't wrap my mind around how he does it. The sheer energy and brilliance this album takes off with, it's like being in a fighterplane that takes off and continues to climb. And after all those years I've known the album and listened to it, and I'm still listening to it, it still gives me that sense of raw energy and excitement every time again. If you can put all that in an album and your name is Jean Michel Jarre, you have my devotion Jean Michel Jarre.
