Has anyone got a sample of the rhythms from Oxygene 2 or Oxygene 5? I'd be much appreciative, especially for the 'clicking' drum track in the fast part of Oxygene 5.

The "drums" on Oxygene V was made with the RMI Harmonic Synthesizer. It can be recreated with any synth today that has got a noise generator. But I can't help you (no synths... ).

I'm still waiting for somebody to make some rex-files of the patterns in Minipops 7. But I guess that it's a pretty time consuming job. Sad...because I don't want to hunt down and buy a real Minipops 7 (no clock in - no midi. Collector's item=too expensive).

Yeah any synth, except that nobody aside from the RMI HS owners have done that sound & rhythm in that way - at least I've never heard it anywhere else.

Of course you will not get the exact same result as you would with the RMI HS (it's like a trademark sound for that synth). But you can get close with some clever programming.

But I guess that goes for any other of the sounds that Jarre used on Oxygene or Equinoxe. You can get close but to get the exact same sound is almost impossible. Not even Jarre can make the exact same sounds that he used on Oxygene and he owns the machines.

That's why somebody should VSTi that synth
