Hey,

I know many are after "that" sound witch you´ll find in the ARP Solina string ensemble and in the various Eminent models.

I´ve had the idea of just pulling the Ensemble unit out of the ARP Solina, but someone beat me to it, so here´s a link for those of you that want the sound but do not have the space for a bulky Eminent organ or do not want to arrange for shipping of such an instrument:

I bought mine a couple of weeks ago and the PCB board arived this monday

Hmmm... It sounds not like the string-ensemble of an eminent 310. It sounds more like the strings of a juno 106 synth.

BTW. the strings of an arp solina is not the same of the eminent 310 strings. (solina strings are more nasal. listen to Air moon safari, they use a lot of arp solina on that album).


PS. the "real jarre sound" is only on ONE model of eminent. 310U (theatre).
all other models of eminents with string-ensembles sounds different.
