Inspired by the upcoming release of the 30th Anniversary,so decided to dig out the Eminent today and Playaround with some Oxygene type sounds...

This is amazing! But, I would lower the volume on the FX (that was my 'constructive' criticism).
A bit sad melody IMHO.

This is wonderful, I'm in love with that track, all I can say is congrats, this is beautiful, sad, exactly in the vein of Oxygène, and these pads, daaaaaamn, I love the Eminent, I NEED one !

Well I love the eminent sounds, still great !
To try to make a constructive remark ... as Arthur said, FX are a little bit high, and maybe need a little bit more reverb ( cause I think you add only delay )

But I have a strange feeling when I heard this ... Sounds are very good, no problem, but I feel that the chords are a little simple ( it's only : I - V - I - V - VI - I for the first part and V - I - V - I - IV - I - V - I ). Maybe you can try to add more ... harmony like pass in an other tonality, in something we won't be expected to happen, cause I have the feeling that the music is written in advance ( like finishing in a perfect cadence )

Never expected this sort of reaction,it was merely for fun and only a Little experimentation of a Track I did a while ago,I've always been inspired by Oxygene but seeing Jarre do some improvisation on the vids of the Upcoming DVD and the Anniversary of Oxygene spurred me on to doing something similar,although its not Played Live and direct,it was all played By hand,with no use of Pre-sequenced Parts(Only a little cut and Paste with the Eminent strings and VCS Fx on the HDR)but it was all played in "Live" to a degree.

I do have a few other Tracks in a similar Style,some which I composed a few years ago,but never actually done anything more than demo versions as these tracks aren't my main style of writing,so maybe in the next few weeks I will rework them and put them online too.
Its been a while since I did some Jarre type tracks,and great to Get the Eminent back Out again,I may try to Include the MP7 on a track too,although I prefer working with the Samples,to make my own Loops
