David Frost interviewed JMJ tonight at 2000 Hrs CET, on his 'Frost Around The World' programme. It lasted about 5 minutes, and touched on the new 'Oxygene' release and JMJ's record concert attendences. Jarre explained that he re recorded 'Oxygene' because he wanted to hear it using today's high definition recording techniques.
Hmm, I wonder. Sounds like Mike Oldfield's reason for re recording 'Tubular Bells'.
The real point of interest was the beginning of the segment, where a beautiful piece
(I'm guessing the 'Prelude' track) was played. A really superb piece, better than anything since 'Oxygene 7-13 IMO.
The suspense is killing me !
