Does anyone have any old pictures of Jarre in his studio from the time of Oxygene (and Equinoxe perhaps) , something like those pictures inside CD booklets (at least I have some in my remastered editions)

A subquestion,
There seems to be a Korg PS-3300 in pictures from that time.
Any ideas why Jarre never used it? It's a little thin, but it makes a good pad-synth

That is in fact a microwave oven. He needs to eat, every now and then, you know.

The Microwave is the EKO Computerhythm.

Perhaps both of you are right, I'm sure if he did have a microwave in his studio it would have a CV I/O, just in case

I still wonder if his dad paid for the EMS-gear on the first pic...

Second pic is my personal favorite. Not to much gear - but good gear. He looks so focused.

Man, I wouldn't be leaving that studio for a looooong while.

My favorite pic is that one from oxygene CD booklet, where Jarre is holding his feet on some instrument and you can see much of the studio

I think I read some place that JMJ had to rent some of the equimpent for Oxygene, but, after the breakthrough he had more than enough money to buy stuff, of course.

I think arp was owned by Frances, but eventually Jarre got his own, except that the old one was with 4012 filter and sounded better (so I assume he continued using the one from Frances)

FR was working for Korg...

Anyway JMJ mentioned few times that he rather preffered arp's filter instead of moog's

And that's the reason he chose the 2600 over the Mini. And thank god, otherwise he would've been just another MM user.
