I'm performing a private electronic concert soon that will feature many of JMJs tracks. The programme is planned to have descriptions of the track playing, so here's my question - how would you describe the following tracks? Be as technical or mystical as you like, but bear in mind they are being played to people with little knowledge of Jarre or synthesisers. Your help is much appreciated folks!

Oxygene 2
Band in the Rain
Oxygene 8
Oxygene 4
Chronologie 4
Magnetic Fields 2
Equinoxe 7
Teo & Tea
Calypso
Ron's Piece
Fourth Rendez-Vous

Thankyou for your input! :D

Oxygene 2 :
Makes you think about the space battles with these Synthi AKS effects, aerial at the same time.

Band in the Rain :
Alone, alone in the rain, with a street organ, and you play, you play, it rains...

Oxygene 8 :
The Moog55 lead is leading you to another world, the world of analogs Oxygène 7-13 rised from dark places...

Oxygene 4 :
Hey, is that a pinguin there ? One of the best known tune all over the world, simply composed with a RMI and an Eminent, and the result, well...

Chronologie 4 :
Enjoy the power of the first numeric synths, an hymn to Swatch describing how the time evolves...

Magnetic Fields 2 :
Listen to this drum sequence, and how this melody can be catchy, 1981 was the year of madness with the Concerts In China !

Equinoxe 7 :
One of the best bass line, deep and clear, powerful and wonderful, this is Equinoxe 7 !

Teo & Tea :
The new dance track from the last album of JMJ, fresh and surrounded by love, Teo&Tea !

Calypso :
Calypso, highly marked by the Roland D50, this album is a tribute to Cousteau and to his boat Calypso, hey, look, the sea is going there !

Ron's Piece :
Calm down, listen to these heart beats, sync them with yours, and enjoy the saxophone solo...

Fourth Rendez-Vous :
The power and the joy, all this gathered in one track, this is Rendez-Vous IV, an hymn to joy !

Okay, don't laugh too much, thx :robertdugenou:

I'll give you a couple:

Oxygene 2:
The sound of World War 3. (Ok, that could be put better, but I've always imagined those VCS3 effects as guns, etc.)

Equinoxe 7:
Moody electro-funk.

Oxygene 2
It makes me think of a far away planet with exotic birds and lights that are similar to Aurora Borealis

Band In The Rain
The name says it all. When you're walking from work to home you come across a band in the rain. Because you feel comfortable you stand still and listen at it.

Oxygene 8
I've always thought this number as a theme for flying through space and discovering strange new worlds.

Oxygene 4
Well nothing special 'bout this song except for that it has a catchy tune and it's one of the best songs that JMJ has ever created

Chronologie 4
This song is timeless. It's like your speeding up time. Traviling back and forth. It's very chaotic but at the same time very logical.

Magnetic Fields 2
It always made me think of hawai. Al those sounds made me think of hawai because, well, the sound Hawaiish

Equinoxe 7
This song makes me think of me being inside a space ship that flys away from earht and heads to adventure's we can't even begin to dream of.

Teo & Tea
I always ascosiated this song with a fierce battle between Goku and Vegeta or Naruto and Sasuke

Calypso
Well it's plainly obvious that this song makes me think of a tropical island somewhere in the Atlantic oceaan. For exemple Aruba or Curocau.

Ron's Piece
Slowly glidding through space with a shuttle. Floating in the weightless shutlle and playing a saxophone. Ahhh..

Fourth Rendez-vouz
Somehow and I don't know why, but I always thought of a football match everytime I hear this song.
We shall defend this land!

I can still remember my thoughts about the Images album from my early days. I just rmember tracks like Oxygene 2 and 4 as weather music, more specified wind and cold weather (positive in this situation) tracks made to be played outside. The cover from the Images album might hav had an influence aswell but the video with the pinguin suits my thoughts very well. I consider these tracks very bright.

Okay, I will have a go. Please do not laugh. :P

When I listen to any track's of JMJ, I am reminded when I first heard them in the different stages of my life.

Oxygene 2
Reminds me of my childhood when life was sweet and innocent because that is when I first heard the album itself.

Band in the Rain
A wet, rainy and dark evening in Paris coming across a French “Band in the Rain.” I don't care if I am gonna get wet, I just want to watch/listen to this fantastic band play.

Oxygene 8
Driving in my car alone very fast with the hood down and the music blaring.

Oxygene 4
When I listen to this track, I tend to daydream quite a lot. I am taking a nice long walk in the country side and I am on my own. The grass is greener than green and the sky is bluer than blue.

Chronologie 4
I think of time gone and time that is coming.

Magnetic Fields 2
Being on a train, watching through the window as it travels along. Taking in all the scenery as the train glides along.

Equinoxe 7
Oh this track is so wonderful. Floating on a cloud high in the sky, looking down below. As the track speeds up so do I on my cloud. I tend to do that a lot with JMJ's music.

Teo & Tea
Makes me wanna dance either on my own or with others. No floating on cloud to this one. Oh and of course I think about “soulmates.”

Calypso
On an island where the steel drum just suits the upbeat music perfectly to dancing and feeling the sand between my toes.

Ron's Piece
Floating in space very slowly and dreamy on my own.

Fourth Rendez-Vous
On a roller coaster, yelling, screaming and happy.
