Nikita is one of my favourite films. Nikita (played by Anne Parillaud, for those who don't know :punch:) comes across at the beginning of the film a cold blooded killer due to being addicted to drugs (heroin) and I didn’t like her much but as the film goes on I actually started to become very fond of her. She becomes an assassin for her government and you see a side of her that is all too emotional especially with her boyfriend. I genuine luv this film from beginning to end. The end is very sad and I did cry some. Anne’s acting abilities were first-rate and she played her character truly and very convincingly. I have watched this film a number of times that I have lost count, it’s that good. :tv2: :clap2:

Eric Serra soundtrack to the film is excellent. My favourite from the soundtrack is The Dark Side Of Time. :relax:

Anne won a César Award for Nikita and the film picked other Awards. 8)

You know, those american people did a "cover" of this movie called "Point of no return" back in the 90´s also! I think it had Bridged Fonda in the lead role! :P

That was also a great rework of the original! :D Both movies are great!! Go see them!!

You said it...but have you seen Angel A?

Flawed but beautiful and shot in gorgeous black & white...

True. I think you are drawing conclusions too fast Ramesh. JMJ never had a proper opportunity to work on a soundtrack. In fact I'm sure he'd be perfectly able to make a proper score.

I missed it at the cinemas :-( I really wanted to see it, it's been years since he made a film (after The Messenger and now Arthur & the Minimoys).

And his other B&W movie, Le Dernier Combat, is still brilliant.
