lissen to this.... now I wonder if there isn't anything physical, for example a 12Inch or at least some MP3s??

I think someone earlier said it was Gigi D'Agostino so I thought it was the typical p2p phenomenaCLUBMIX wrote:was anything unclear about DJ Quicksilver's versions of "Equinoxe 4"?
Do you have better recordings of that remixes then? I only have the radio-broadcast recordings....Pat1982 wrote:Hi All, I registered some time before but this is actually my first post here![]()
I am the creator of that youtube movie, so I'll give you some more info about it.
The reason I made it is because almost nobody seemed aware of the existence of those 3 remixes.
so I wanted to introduce them to Jarre fans, and at the same time make a visual treat to the Gigi fans as well, to introduce them a bit more to Jarre (yes, he still needs an introduction to some people)
The problem is he has a 50 minutes radioshow and wants to play as much records as possible, so most songs are only played for 1.5 or 2 minutes (mixed together).
So I mixed the audio from various shows toghether, if you listen closely you can hear that Oxygene was made from 3 different takes, Equinoxe was 3, and Oxy8 was 2.
I tried to cut as much of the voice as possible (it's Gigi D'Agostino's).
The Equinoxe 4 intro he only played once on the radio, unfortunately with too much talking.
Oxygene 4 was played on these dates:
17-09-2005, 24-09-2005, 08-10-2005, 15-10-2005, 22-10-2005
Equinoxe 4:
01-12-2006, 02-12-2006, 05-12-2006, 06-12-2006, 07-12-2006, 08-12-2006, 11-12-2006, 16-12-2006, 14-02-2007, 11-05-2007
Oxygene 8:
14-10-2006, 16-10-2006, 17-10-2006, 18-10-2006, 19-10-2006
This song has also been played:
Jean Michel Jarre - Pop Corn (01-05-2006)
However I don't have that recording, so I cannot tell wether it is the Jamie Jefferson version, Kingsley's or just another cover.
Actually I don't think it's Jarre's version, that is a bit too obscure, so more likely it's a misnomer.
Gigi has stated he has been influenced by Jarre in his youth, and is a fan
However don't count on these mixes ever to be released, Gigi makes 2 or 3 new tracks a week, so he already has over 100 unreleased songs on the shelves![]()
Besides licencing is another issue.
He also made a dance version of Vangelis' Chariots of Fire (Titles), but I think it is a bit weak.
Hope this clears things up!
