I had heard that a) it isn't bluetooth - but this shows it is and b) you cant change the SIM ??? strange then that it asks you to put in a valid SIM when you switch it on.

Some interesting photo's but I could never bring myself to do that to my iPhone when I get it. Think I Will wait for second gen though for 3G support, bigger iPod (if possible) better camera than 2MGP - it seems the American phone market is a couple of years behind the european one.

how not to take an iPhone apart:

I will get it with a contract. No freaking way I will get that thing prepaid. It's just because it syncs wonderful with my mac and it looks really pretty... :D

I thought it would be...uh..just okay but I stopped in my local apple store and it is the most beautiful device. What really amazed me was how thin and light it is. It fits perfectly in the palm of your hand and navigation is so easy & intuitive.

But yeah, it is just too expensive, but give it time...

I heard they wouldn't be selling it with a contract in Europe, but that doesn't make much sense to me. Do you know anything about that Ramesh?

Actually iPhone just struck a deal with O2 in the UK and T-Mobile in Germany???

It seems that O2 has been offered the contract to provide telephony services in the UK for the iPhone. It seems that the iPhone should be available in the UK in time for Christmas. O2 have refused to confirm or deny these reports, so is it yet another unconfirmed iPhone rumor or is it fact? We can only wait to find out."

The Washington Post translates a Rheinische Post article which reveals that the iPhone will be sold through T-Mobile in Germany and launch on November 1st, 2007.

The cost of the phone for the German market is said to be 450 euros (US $612). There has been no confirmation of rumors the European version of the iPhone may incorporate 3G technology.

Apple launched the iPhone in the U.S. last week and had planned a European launch in Q4 2007 and Asia in 2008.
