It's NOT me saying that JMJ has not written FJAS. I just want to give you this link so the discussion can begin:

http://www.xs4all.nl/~jschurer/fjas/index.html

Belive it or not.

I didn't pick up on this before? Is it true?

As a side point, if any of you have played Rainbox Six: Vegas, listen carefully in the Chinese themed restaurant / casino. You can hear some of the melody being played softly in the background.

Actually, no. :P Back then when CiC was released, I thought: "Wow... imagine that Jarre is capable of making such wonderful music in the Chinese people's own tradition".

We did discuss it on the old forum, though. :punch:

Hello fellow Johan :D

Yes, it was a shock to me those many years ago as it is now to you.

But the fact remains.... it's true... jmj only composed the in between parts with the use of the fairlight etc... but not the whole track.

Take a deep breath.... remember it and search on :)

Johan

Hehe. I was not very active on the old forum. So I think I missed it there. But anyway. I didn't know that it has been discussed before.

You can't know everything ;)
It's actually a traditional tune, and JMJ wrote the additional arrangements. Or either he had them written, I can't tell.
