Has anyone got this, and whats the edits/mix like compared to the actual album release?.

From what I gather, this limited edition was released to promote the double album of HONG KONG and features 'Chronologie 6' and 'Souvenir Of China'. The cd single never got to the stage of being pressed for commercail sale, only as a promo.

Chronologie 6 (4'02) *

Souvenir Of China (5'04)*

FDM 3752-1 CB 602*

*Information from COTM issue, spring 1995

Dunno what the mix is of that single since It's still sealed overhere.

But if it's the same mix as on the videoclip it's just a shorter version where they made a cut after about 15 seconds where they go 3 minutes into the live version.

Also this was never released as a promo, Dreyfus made a last minute decision not to release it as a single and destroyed all the CD's, a few dozen survived though ;-)

It`s an edit of the live album version (yes, I`ve opened it).
SoC is exactly the same.

According to that issue of COTM, they had, and I quote "We were pleased to be able to offer a few hundred lucky readers of COTM copies of the remaining CD single". That's more than a few dozen.
Jarre concerts attended - Destination Docklands 1988 - Paris La Defense 1990 - Europe In Concert 1993 (Manchester & London) - Oxygene Tour 1997 (Birmingham)

"A group of men and woman entered the laboratory one month ago to live in a smell free world. Body odour, sweaty arms pits and smelly feet are to create the energy to survive. A total mystery surrounds this experiment, and it's project code name: B.O and Smell'i "

A friend of mine had this CD,Souvenir of China was exactly the same, but Chrono 6 was edited.
It was the first few bars of the track & then went straight into the 2nd part.

I seem to recall the Belgian fan club were given 200 copies some of which were given to COTM.

AFAIK this was ineed true, although not sure if it were 200 (I think it was 12 dozen, i.e. a gross i.e. 144 copies (wich is a logical number considering)

But then again, I didn't count them ;-)

Didn't something similar happen to the single release of Chrono 8?

Didn't the Chrono 8 single have a short release (a few days) before being pulled?
