Well I bought it more for collectability than for actual useage,as I have the samples of the Instrument sound anyway..

Serial Number is 61486

The MP7 is bigger than I expected(12.5"x 10.25")

Gonna take it apart tonight and clean it up...

The very same!!!The guy originally bought it from a second hand shop for £40,whilst he made a tenner on it off me, I still got it at a bargain price!!

I don't think many people responded to the ad,seeing as it wasn't advertised as the MP7 just as a Korg Minipops model,I was half expecting it to be sold before I enquired,but glad I did!!!

I've got myself many bargains off that Site...If you get in fast enough you can get some real great deals,some people sell stuff at virtually giveaway prices

I saw it early Sunday and thought at that price there must be something wrong with it, bashed about and such. But from your photo, it looks in good shape. Atleast it's gone to a good home.

The guy said it was tatty(but fully operational),and sent me a Photo of it,which it didn't look bad at all,when I picked it up today,you could see it was worn in places,but nothing problematic...

the front Panel has slight wear on it,in places(you can't really see it in the photo)its basically where the colouring(champage colour) on the panel has been worn away,but Its nothing major,with a unit as old as this its gonna bear some cosmetic scars, I'm not too fussed,everything works fine on it otherwise and all the livery is still intact
A bit of a clean and polish and it should come up nicely...Bargain for 50 notes!!


I'm doing some digging around on the net to see if theres any info on Modding it,so it can be externally clocked(Jarre/Geiss must have done it somehow)Possibly syncing to SMPTE!!seeing as Midi was yet to be implemented back then

I'm interested to know how he clocked it to his sequencers/Studers?

What is a more ordinary price for this machine? It is vintage but so limited that nobody really use it anymore.
