Wow! That intro is great, and when the plucks start, and that guitar solo. Only thing is: it sounds a bit restless to my ears. I think it's because of the strings, or the lack of a bass. IMO you should mix it again, with a bit more bass in the strings, or a bassline, and the strings a bit softer.
But a very neat track!

I love it, the sequences are excellent, the guitar rocks ! (real one ?!)
But I think the mix is well done, effects are excellent too, everything is excellent, I'm gonna take it on my MP3 player

Initially, I wanted to invite a colleague at home to record some sequences of real electric guitar and have fun, but unfortunately, he fell ill in the meatime.

As he is currently recovering, and I don't know how long it's gonna take, I decided to finish recording this track by myself using a synthetic saturated guitar patch that I programmed just for the occasion!

So not a real one, just another trick

Doesn't matter, this guitar sounds neat man!

Here we are : The pads have been done with a roland jx305 the bass was generated by a vst synth but I don't remember which one, and the guitar was made from a sawteeth wave sample (cs2x) that I shaped until it sounds good, then added some whawha & distorsion fx on the top of it
I played a bit with the modulation ribbon aswell as the pitch bender to make it groove like an electric guitar lol

Hey now I remember, the bass sequences were generated by the z3ta+

All the other different sounds are coming from these 2 keyboards plus a few samples that I cut and re-worked. And maybe some stuff from the Blue 101 too.

And as usual, I used my beloved soundforge/cakewalk/orion tools set to put all the bits and pieces together, "a la" protools. I just mix waves eventually and .... but wait a minute...haven't I said that before ????

Pretty nice sound for a yammie synth. Damn, I'm going to like those CSx/ANx series
