Has anybody made a cover of WFC or Calypso 2.
I could cover the WFC, but cannot read notes very well.

Yeah, Voxel9 has covered Calypso 2, it's available from his
website
Don't touch the masterpiece WFC.. there's no way you can cover that brilliant atmosphere

yeah good choice, calypso 2 is a great track too, I used to listen to it loud in the car
By the way, would anyone know which keyboard jean-michel used to make it ?
I remember that his staff were using a lot of "Korg" gear (T1, T3) at La Defense in 1990...

I have the WFC songbook, so sequencer program is the only needed program to make backing tracks.
(length is about 22 mins of that version <thanks to GJ about clearing the length of the song on the WFC-songbook>)

Sorry for being a little off-topic, but what synth was used as a backup for the steeldrums on Calypso? sounds like something you could pull out of the D-50, but if the D-50 was only for minor stuff on the WFC album...

As a backup ?
It was the D50 or the T3, but the D50 wasn't really minor here, it represents an important part

Backup, you know playing together with the steeldrums.
I have no idea how much the D-50 was used on WFC, some just talked about it being used only in the beginning of Calypso 2, however I never understood that, as it was also used in Calypso 3 for instance.

It was used for quite a few things on the WFC album. Mind you that the D50 was not an outdated synth at that time...
