All my media-stream is so bad...

...that I can't seem to look at any video online right now. I have not been on YouTube yet but when I am on some newspapers and TV-sites I can't get anything to work for me. I have even tried to upgrade Windows Media Player with no result what so ever. All I get is that the video isn't even buffering. What can I do to make it work again?

Try to find out if something is keeping your RAM memory busy (spyware or sth)
Or perhaps you have temporary limited bandwidth...

My media-player has started to make funny noises while streaming media in the last couple of weeks. Specially at the same time as the RAM-memory is working with another web page. It happens while playing it online aswell as from any cd/dvd-drive. I have cleared the hdd free from any spy- or malware. Still this crazy sparkling, cracking noise?????

I was talking to Velodynamic there...
I suppose your problem is either the overuse of RAM memory (check if your computer is infected with spyware and the likes) or either your internet connection offers temporary limited bandwidth for whatever reason.

But if you got limited bandwidth, then the whole net-connection is slow, or not available at all.

How can I test my speed on my internet-connection if I need to see if I have got limited band-width?

Mostly if your bandwidth is limited, it takes aaages for loading a page!

But now it works perfectly and I have no exponation what so ever!
Well I guess soon I will change this bloody soundcard I have anyway...with some better output than a simple phono jack. But thanks for the advice...I will check the PCI if it happens again.
