The AERO album, when playing the 5.1 dvd, do you have the video on or off?

The first couple of times I listened to the album, I had the video on, but now I don't bother. I just switch it off.

Never watched the video besides few seconds

I don't remember If i have ever watched the full eye performance

Watched the first track. Only listen to the CD now.

I watched some seconds with eyes, but when I listen to it, I ask it without the video part
It is boring, I'm not in love with her for my case

I have watched only once with the eyes on.. simply because I don't have a 5.1 set, so I'd be watching the eyes and have some pwned sound: my tv speakers aren't that suitable for listening music...
It's not that boring, but I don't bother watching it, though.

When I listen the dvd, I don't put the eyes off, I turn the entire tv off.

Almost the same situation for me.

I don't have a good surround system. I think the video is cool to have running as background visual effects. It's not that special. I'd rather watch something else while listening to the music.

I do the same as Jarp2600,I turn off the telly

I have only watched the video once with Anne eyes.
I prefer listening to the album without seeing how her eyes express to the music. It would have been better if it was Jean Michel’s eyes then maybe I would have watched the video more frequently.

I would have preferred totally new music videos

It helps if you have a proper 5:1 setup

Unless you have a proper setup,your missing a great Audio/Visual Experience

To me i think most people find it boring to watch as they expect some kind of visualisation to match the Music,which IMO is wrong Music is first and the Imagery is second,the Images should come from the Music?Its like Listening to the Radio...You have to use your Imagination because there are no pictures to accompany it

Put on the DVD relax and clear your mind....Don't think of anything at all except staring at the eyes and listening to the panning effects of the music

stare into the Eyes and listen to the music,the thing with Imagery is that it shrouds the Mind to not listen to the music as critically(how many of you take in a film soundtrack or listen to it in the same way as a normal audio CD whilst watching the Film) as with Music in Film its secondary to the Pictures or there to Audibly aid the picture as your mind deals with the Imagery first,whereas I feel that Jarre made this Film with a turntable on that,whereby you use the Eyes as a kind of thought evoker to stimulate your mind into listening to the Music far more intimately...


I've watched it like this about half way through....Its very stimulating and makes you hear his Music in a new light..

I think I've been watching "the eye contact" three or four times.
But then when Jarre was getting married I didn't wanted to stare into Anne's eyes for that long anymore (crossing fingers).



Now seriously, it feels to depressing having a pair of tear filled eyes on my wall screen while listening to a perfectly nice and happy composition. So I allways just looking for the menu for choosing stereo or multichannel, then my TV goes stand-by mode.

The sound experience is great, but I don't have too much with watching more than an hour to 2 eyes.

I like the eyes of Anne! It's very minimalistic but so arty!
