MUSIC LIVE TODAY!!!!

Hi!
I'm going to Music Live at the NEC in Birmingham today, an exhibition where a LOT of musical instrument manufacturers have stands to try out new equipment and buy products, etc. etc. Pretty much, think NAMM, but not so big and open to the public.
I'll be posting pictures and videos later on this coming week!

Hehe, it was good as usual. Didn't get many photos or vids; I got 3 pics of a complete ripoff of Steve Vai's Gem guitar, and a short video of a bloke from Roland beatboxing!!!!

How close is this to something like NAMM, were firms like Korg, Roland etc there?
Btw. Doesn't Steve Vai play on Ibanez or copies? I think I will just check it out again.

Pretty close. Small companies like Metasonix, etc aren't there, but all the big names are there, like Korg, Roland, Yamaha, Fender, Marshall, Behringer, etc, etc.
Steve Vai plays an Ibanez.

Ok if just the bigger brands were there, it must have been really cool.
Steve Vais Ibanez is also recognizable for that special desgined grip cut into the guitar. I don't remember who made the heart guitar or what ever it was designed like.

Went to that in London in '94. I was still in the Band back then, I remember we spent a fortune on a Studiomaster Mixing Desk 16:8:16:2 - Digitech Vocalist and numerous other bits of kit.
