What's Going On With My Hard Drive Space?!?!?

Hi,
I just had a really weird thing happen with the hard drive on my PC. It had suddenly dropped to 400 Mb of free space, then went up to 820, then 1.1Gb, and is now stuck at 1Gb exactly. What the hell is going on???

Edit: It's just gone up to 1.03 Gb.

I think there's nothing wrong. I think it's the space on your HD that's used to transport data from your HD to your RAM (I don't know the english name. In dutch we call it "wisselbestand", something like "changing file"). But that value changes continue. So, don't worry!

I have 163 GB left over on my hard drive. Get a bigger hdd.

Ok! I had a bit of a junk clearing session anyway, and got over 1Gb more space by uninstalling eJay Music Director.
Why the hell that's on my PC when I've got Ableton Live 5, god knows.

I've got an external but I only use that for mp3s and videos.

It is the exchange file, pagefile.sys I think.
Windows always change the disk space

No, It wasn't saved on your external memory. But now it's stocked there, forever!

Not in RAM so, on DVD (because a HDD can fail
)

DVD's can be lost, but it's stocked on both
