I think that riff was used in just about every other Oldskool Hardcore track between 91-94,now i know the Origin,I must have at least 30 or so Hardcore Vinyls which feature it...

Amazing how One common loop has influenced so many genres subconsciously

i had so many jungle/tek/hardcore LPs wich uses that sample !

Yes i still got most of mine Vinyls from 91-94 must have over 400 or so,from my DJ days,most of what was being produced during that period fired off the Drum and Bass/Jungle that we hear now and also Happy hardcore,thats why it never sounds dated..

I'm sure Run DMC used that Loop extensively on some tracks

The thing with the Amen Loop is that it fits perfectly in any genre,not like a standard four to the floor loop it has variation that works in almost any track and tempo because of the Groove of it

Sounds like March 23 rhythm track, too...

A LOT of breakcore (IDM with breakbeats) uses the Amen Break.

Amazing how a silver box that was designed to replace the Bass Guitar flopped in its original offering,but was revived in a non conventional Bass way to influence so much...

I wonder if Instruments of today will have the same impact in 20 years time???

I severely doubt.

I think I will use them then too. Software is for me another thing than making music.

I knew about that TB303 video but it is still very interesting. I will watch it again.

A TB-303 would be goof for my big beat projects.

Yeh,I had to double take on that....Given that a lot of Bass sounds generate from Sinewaves,I thought the screenshot of the Squarewave/Sawtooth on the 303 was a Mistake...

Had to double check in one of my Vintage synth books!!! :Dits definetly Square and Sawtooth(or ramp as its referred to in my book)
