Alarm bells started ringing when I saw that.

This kind of reminds me of those idiots who list synths on ebay with starting prices of $99, for such synths like Triton Extremes 88, but you have to email them first - avoid like the plague.

Is it strange if I don't believe that guy? 200 for an AKS... And there's almost no description about it.

My father always told me to ask the seller one thing which can tells the truth about the object :
Ask the seller to show on a photothe newspaper of the day (and the hand of the seller)
Works very well !

Well I've sent a few Queries to the seller....so waiting a reply...


Only thing puts me off is little feedback,joined since jul 04 though??maybe he has various other accounts seeing as hes been a member for a while...could be dodgy,then again could be pukka


Starting bid of £200 isn't an unrealistic price,given that the reserve hasn't been met,I've bid on items before with low starting price way below the usual price,but have skyrocketed towards the end of the auction,again I think its so it doesn't put people off to bid on it...

If the Starting bid was something like £1500 then its puts people off straight away..offering it at a lower reserve gives it a more relaistic approach,no doubt it will still probably end up around the £1500+ mark..

About 1k-1200 would be my limit,(If it is a genuine artifact in GWO)

I agree- the starting price doesn't say anything. Quite the opposite, actually it's quite smart to start at such a low price, it makes people want to bid on it...

I've done a similar thing before,gettting the seller to take a photo of himself holding a piece of paper with a message youve asked them to write on the paper standing by/Holding the Item
It may seem a strange request but most genuine sellers are happy to oblige,or i will ask to view the item first,(as some sellers offer this)

Its certainly stopped me getting scammed

But... Why there's so less description at the advertisement? Only some general things about it.
