Did anyone know about this digital Mellotron, the Memotron?
IMO this is the perfect solution for those who have no room/money for an old Mellotron. But this is great!

You'd be better off buying the virtual M-Tron, imho... this is insanity

Yes i knew about it, I think it has been discussed in here before in some NAMM threads.
I do also think the price is too much. M-tron is just so much cooler, even thinking that it's software. Make your own clone controller of a Mellotron and use it together with M-tron

I have seen cool results of such projects.

There was a japanese guy who built his own mellotron with old walkmans. That looked funny!

Sounds like a tough project. I wouldn't start any experiments with anything running on tape.
