What phasers are best for You?

I've tested today 2 phasers: Electro Harmonix Smallstone EH4800 and old Electro Harmonix Russian SOVTEK and I must admit that eh4800 suxxxx... sovtek sounds really gorgeus and soft ands ideal for jarrish evolving light sweeps!!!

heres my 3 Phasers

I prefer the Orange/Black Model,this is an Original 70s model,the other 2 are reissues(the EH4800 Originals don't have Status LED and the Sovtek originals are Green)

Between them all they all have a different sound even though there the same pedal,but the Sovtek has a more buzzy sound,but the orange model has that smooth warm fuller sound,I prefer to use the Sovtek more for white noise

I have been after one of the EH Badstone pedals as these are supposed to be the best Phaser ever made,they are very rare(I'm sure i spotted one on top of Dominique Perriers setup on the Moscow concert

I really enjoy the sound of the second one Radek.

BTW, I have also this pedal so ...

Some phasers from the Ensoniq DP4 are very good to me, maybe too recognizable, but diferent from the Smal Stone ...

I will try to post some example of the EH with the JP8000 later

Actually like I expected, but then again phasers should be subtle in my opinion..

Speaking of phasers... I'm trying something new.. as Phlanger or Flaser what you like more

I have no sound examples (yet) because I'm still developping it...

It's a phaser and flanger (hence the names) in either serial or parallel mode but driven by the same LFO. Also 3 different forms of feedback can be used (2x seperate and 1 total)... I hope it turns out to be nice... what I created sofar is resonable but not stunning as it should be....

I'm also going to try to recreate the Talking Pedal... I've learned it uses *2* seperate vowel filters...

I have got the same models of the E.H Smallstone as Equin(00)xe. The 70's Smallstone is really creamy and lush. It's like it's made for pads. A friend used it on his Fender Rhodes, Pure magic!
The new Smallstone is more "modern" and straight foward. I like to use this on bass and my drummachines.

IMO nothing can beat a Smallstone.

I want to build a few pedals into my modular system once I've got a decent synth setup up and running.
