Whatever. It's not that they're any kind of threat on the longer run.

True, but I think they're freaked enough to launch one...

Strange, pretty odd. Hope they don't end up firing them at other countries purposely.

Basicly it comes down to this..., Hypocracy. (we can, but they shouldn't own?)

Countries like that want nukes to make sure no other country will attack them, this worked for India and Pakistan too so why wouldn't it work for Iran and North Korea? (who have legitimate fears of a US attack BTW, officialy North Korea is still at war with the US so...)

Don't get me wrong, I trust neither of those two governements but this is simply their reality and their country they want to defend (or defend their personal power, choose your poison)

About them being freaked enough to launch one... well... It would also mean their own destruction so it's unlikely they will use it unless they are attacked... (!)

There's only one country on the globe that ever actualy used one before and we all know it wasn't russia don't we? I'm still surprised PPL defend using those ones to be hounest, afterall the Japs did agree to surrender before they were dropped, little detail... they only wanted to surrender if the emporer could stay on... well... Today we also know he didn't have to leave after the war was over so what was the point in dropping those again? testing? revenge for Pearl Harbor?

Bottom line, don't worry about it too much since North Korea also knows that using them would mean their own destruction, same goes for Iran. That principle worked in the cold war, that principle has been working between India and Pakistan and it should also work here.

I am with Antigoon, it is all about hypocricy (spelling??). Why shall the worlds leader in terrorism have got the most hightech wepon of mass destruction and tell other countries to get rid of those same wepons?? It is crazy that the country that wants the terrorism gone is the ones to start the most of this. It is so sad. If they were a bit nicer and got the guard down a bit and started to talk about peace and love instead we would have a safe world.

And I am not talking about North Korea. They may just be a typical dictator-country that once were victims in the huge game of the worlds.

I am more likely to talk about the USA, Israel and the far right christians.

Love Leelene

They have, severely.

@Antigoon: I do agree more or less... :)

Not too bothered. The failed missile tests show that they have no real capacity to launch a successful nuclear attack anyway.

I see the US as more of a threat to world peace at the moment. I hope they learn from their actions soon. It's not as if the US has ever been nice to the North Koreans or Iran recently.

Maaaaaaaaaaadness!! :( :x

Just when allmost every country has agreed and is about to stop using this nuclear radio acc shit, they had to do it.
Immediately the big cowboy in the far west starts fingering at the trigger.
I think sanctions to North Korea is a little bit kind of loose right now.
Millions of refugees will be the result...

I'm just tired of this all fucked up power struggle cirkus!

Ok...I'm calm now. :P

To be really honest I wouldn't mind if they'd shoot one at the US. But that may sound really freaked out and many civilians could get killed and all that, but still... and then the US can shoot an XL Nuke in return and all the trouble ends... or perhaps them Russians will dig them 40 year old missiles and try to should the US and we can have a Second Cold War. But then again that sounds like a bad fairytale, so: they lived happily ever after.

Did this make any sense? No. Never mind :P
