What are the diffrences? What is Univox?

I think it is the same but I don't have more infos

Hmm - I've read about this... I think KORG licensed Univox to build some of their drummachines, but they do sound slightly different, I think...

thats Right,Univox were licensed to sell the MP7 as the SR95,i think it was mainly for the US market,(Univox are now owned by Korg,mainly selling Guitar Amps)the SR/MP are essentially the same cosmetically but there is a slight noticable difference in the Timbre of the sounds....SR95 were more clunky and heavy.

All the loops are the same. AFAIK..

I had the chance to buy a Univox SR95 about 5 years ago,but turned it down... it needed some work doing to it and I couldn't be bothered to fix it as i wasnt sure whether i could obtain spares)

I was sure I saw something somewhere about it :

Never. The SR95 sounds definitive more "static" then the original MP7. Maybe that the SR95 was a lot later released (where it is often usual, that things, which are build under license, come later onto the market) and uses "better" components than the Mp7?! Remember that the MP7 was released somewhere around 1966/1967.
