I wondered myself just as something!

I was simply even something for wondering itself. It would be nice had a book of "Jean Michel Jarre" end up with a lot of photograph, devising its album-and videocovers, concert plans (stage, concept, projections,...). From 1970 until now! :D 8)

The idea rose in me because there on 23 October a book of the "Pet shop boys" released, called "Catalogue", with more than 300 pages and around the 2000 photographs (portrait photograph, album photograph, concert photograph, concertplans...).

Greetzzz...

P.S. Sorry for this Babel Fishy translation!

Why not a fan-book ? Why not a book done by all the Zoolook members ? :D

I remember that Remilleux, the author of the first book dedicated to Jarre and published in english and french languages in 1987 and 1988, was contacted few years ago by the old Jarre.net site promoting a similar poll on its forum in order to consider the proposal of an updated edition of that biography. Despite all the website fans were asking to publish again the book nothing has happened until now. I think that the option of a fan-made book is a nice idea (if nothing will happen after the 30th anniversary of Oxygene and the release of the new album). The italian fanclub of Mike Oldfield has published recently a great book with tons of informations and photos as they couldn't bear that their favourite musician has never be considered by italian press and media (as for the case of Jarre).
After more than 30 years of career Jarre fully deserves a new book of critical texts, biographical data, photos, concert projects designs and so on.

No, not specially a petition, the better way is to make a list in this thread of all the persons interested by that and then, when e have 100 persons, we can email AeroProd.
Maybe if there is an important number of fans who ask it, it will happen one day :D

Yeah, that's what I mean! Can I make a new thread (or you can make it, Nico!) or is it better that the names are in this thread?

I want a full biography or autobiography covering everything about his life, music, concerts and of course numerous amount of colourful photos. Jean-Louis Remilleux’s book needs to be up dated as it was released more or less 14 years ago and a lot has happened since then. I would be very happy to join the list of names to put forward to Aero Prod. :D

The book would be a gift fallen from heaven if it ever happens. :P
