Hi all!

I've been looking for audio samples from the Yamahas W5 and W7... It seems impossible to find that on the net.

Maybe someone here has one of those synths?

I'd like to get an older Yamaha workstation, and the W5/W7 (1994) are cheaper than SY99/SY77 and EX5/EX7. I see some W7s for the same price as some TG77s. But I don't know how it sounds, I've just read that the sounds were great.

It's not very bad. It's a funny melody. But only that!

Identical except for number of keys
W5 = 76 W7 = 61.

I bought one a number of years ago & sold it pretty quickly.

Thanks for the recommandation but I already have some synths and prefer to work with hardware for the moment

My intention is to add a 16-part multitimbral synth to have more polyphony, more midi tracks and more sounds to chose from.

The 16-part synths I have now are Roland XP80 and Korg 01/WFD.
