BTW, a stompbox is:

EDIT: Sorry for the geartalk, Jacob BC, but as the gear is so closely related to what music we can expect (Synthex -> Laser Harp, Roland D50 -> Revolutions?), I think the instruments in Francis' blog give us a few hints of what to expect, and is therefore very much ontopic for the tour thread.

EDIT AGAIN: But now that I see the gear thread you've set up, it's a very nice place to discuss exctly such things.

;)

I see your point. The other thread is just to prevent this thread from drowning in geeky geartalk

well, regardless of anything... each concert venue wherever it is.. it's just pure unadulterated 'gear porn' like the Oxygene tour... with maybe a little more of a drool factor....

Just keep Aero in mind :P

Good point, rfo-man (Afroman? :p:) even though the Oxygene 7 choir sounds not-that-overused IMO :p:

(And I'd still prefer a real one for appropriate tracks)

That was my first thought, when saw the picture

Hopefully it's not a foreshadowing cymbal :punch:

If there is a chance there will be a real choir, then I think it's fair we have some in-door fireworks. :fine: What do you think, Jeana Michela Jarre? :robertdugenou:

There won't be real choirs. I'm pretty sure of that.

Hi folks... I seem to recall that JMJ mentioned he would try to give each concert a local character, like he used to do outdoors, by bringing in guest musicians or the like. Do I remember it all wrong and confuse it with other concerts?

Maybe I do.... but it would have been cool if he managed to bring on some local talent, a singer or choir or soloist. It would probably be an unusual thing to do, and JMJ likes unusual things.
