whoa! hot topic!

firstly - a big thank you to all folks who put up stuff for us to download :)

secondly - he looks to be in great shape :) and seems to me like there's some nice stuff in stock for the new tour.

"he's also the most French person in the world" - true

jaja....

(and the furthest extent of my knowledge of Dutch is: Koffie...)

I am keeping my ears peeled and my eye out on anything that can be turned into downloadable media... not everyone has torrents/ftp access (or likes them - including myself) and not everyone (at the moment anyway with the way the interviews and appearances are going) is able to live in the UK for the duration of interview output.... just glad I can do my bit for the international fans... and for those on slow connections.... and all that... can't help it, it's the way I am... :D

Currently going through the 'green room' segment of 'Loose Women' seeing how best to subtitle it...

Details for The Music Week programme on BBC 6 Music (05/04/2009) as mentioned in yesterday's programme, Shaun Keaveny:-

Music Week Website:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/music_week (nothing shown yet for JMJ's interview)

On today's programme, Shaun Keaveny, JMJ's interview was not aired even though the website is showing this info.

I would imagine that in light of the news of the demise of Maurice Jarre, they did the decent thing at the last minute to suspend broadcast until Sunday as a mark of respect. Quite understandable really. JMJ would be in the US having attended the funeral now.

It just now means that we've got a few extra days to wait... Sunday isn't that far away ;)

Yes, that would be the respectable thing to do. I just wish the BBC had removed that info in order to be correct.

I guess (like is always often the case) that it was all too late in the day to make necessary website changes... I've seen this happen before. Its sometimes just easier to make a verbal announcement and hope that gets out - because not everyone surfs the net in quite the same way as the next person :)

Just glad I was able to make that recording available to all, so that there won't be anyone missing it on Sunday (and any other day of the week after :D)

It was just pure bloody luck that both the death and the appearances/interviews came out the same day... and the old story - some things you can cancel, some things you can't. So, obliged, thats why he appeared on Loose Women (because these sort of shows dont have a stand-by guest) his last public appearance before travelling to the funeral.
