Nice, bit of a long time to wait though. Must be being released as a concert only and not associated with the wedding. Her in the UK, the royal wedding of Will & Kate was on DVD and instores one week following the wedding.

They may have been polution free, but think of how much fossil fuel was used to light and power the stage, instruments and surrounding area. Not to mention fuel for planes and shipping that stage and gear

Nice matin:
That seems a bit much, isn't it?

Translated. . . .

"The concert of Jean Michel Jarre in Monaco on Friday night for the wedding of Prince Albert II, was seen by over 2.5 billion viewers, according Ustream TV which ensured capture for television and the Internet with 15 cameras which one mounted on a UAV"

No way this was seen by 2.5 billion viewers :D I find it hard to believe :P

And a dvd release in December? When people have forgotten about this event? For each day that goes from this event, less copies will be sold. Jarre must know that. It could end up only being bought by Jarre fans, more or less. I actually thought I would come out no later than 1.5 month after this event. :P Well, we will see :D

Agreed. But then again, there's still no DVD of the concerts before Moscow 1997.

Let's be clear about the DVD format, that didn't pickup untill well into the year 2000, Blu-ray on the other hand is picking-up much faster then DVD, and sometimes even outselling the DVD counterpart

Does JMJ know what blu-ray is? (j/k)

For a man who boasts in being ahead of the game and being in with technology, he's a bit behind the times.

Well if he would release a Holographic Versatile Disc, then he would be years ahead... But I doubt it
