FNAC reopened orders for vol. 10 minutes ago, however with "shipping in 4-8 days", as if they are awaiting delivery from the supplier

jpc has cancelled the order, stating it's sold out. It has also completely disappeared from their website. Amazon.de states "Not available".

Not "completely", the product page is still there

Ah, I see. But if you search for "Radiophonie 10" this page is not be shown. You'll get "Radiophonie 8" instead...

imusic.dk now lists Radiophonie vol. 10 as "not available". My order hasn't been canceled though.

Amazon hasn't cancelled mine yet, but no movement either. It's going to be one of those releases I see...

Edit: Amazon emailed me that they've delayed it and it's unknown when they'll ship it. This is going to take a while I feel...

Not only is CD4's volume much lower than the other 3 CDs, the 600-tracks on CD3 have a lower volume too compared to the rest on CD3. Everything in the 600 range.
Or, because we're talking about David Dadwater: everything before the 600 range is much LOUDER

And to add to the 3xx offense: listen to 313. Sounds like a 22kHz (!) 64kbps mp3.

Here's an interesting comment from jarrelook.de
Guten Abend,

vorbestellt.
Schönes Wochenende!
Basically it says that this person was on the phone with amazon.co.uk; the problems (I suppose the mono problem) are known and should be fixed by Aug 7th. So perhaps FNAC got the faulty batch and the UK will get the fixed ones?

Deadwater did a 'great' job again. :D

So I guess were in for yet another replacement batch?

I'm genuinely confused how he still has a job doing this, when he has proven time and time again to be terrible at it.

Who knows if it's "another" batch or the first one - perhaps FNAC got the faulty copies that were supposed to be destroyed...

By our standards he's terrible, by current mastering standards he does an okay job (not talking about the mono mistake obviously)

Nope, because Jarre is a B-artist. It is actualy strange that there is a fysical release...

If it's an incorrect batch, I assume it's nothing more than fair they're producing a correct batch and will deliver those.

But it's less than fair to sell the incorrect batch, like FNAC did, if a corrected one was under way.

Oh trust me, I know the feeling all to well. I got the Doctor Who Season 12 boxset earlier this year with the Season 10 labels. Amazon sold the incorrect batch that the BBC recalled and at first washed their hands of their mistake. Thankfully got a refund after few days and different reps and the BBC delivered the correct disc a few months later.

If they're producing a new batch, you can always contact FNAC stating you got a wrong one, best case scenario you get the correct one as well.

Or Jarre himself is getting deaf too.

VR, AI, terrible mastering, occasionally immature musical pieces. The last few years...
A downward career. Feels like that.
