What i am against is HYPED products like most of what Arturia makes.. they are garbage and the whole idea that they actually sound like the real thing..
If you want to hear some really good sounding virtual old school analog VSTs, check out XILS labs, their XILS 3 synth is amazing.
I also spent over a year creating a really good sounding analog synth in Reaktor with hundreds of real analog oscillator samples.

- at least 3 sounds from the synth, or a long evolving one that may suggest the type of synthesis involved.
- specify if it's hardware or software (analog, hybrid, virtual or digital NOT specified; make it interesting in spotting the real vs virtual nuances)
- record sounds from the synths we have under our hands. It's more fun for us than recycling something from the net; sometimes the demo excerpt from the net are very lo-fi and who can be really sure of who is playing what?

But I could use some sounds taken from hardware (I mean samples). Sounds, which are almost unable to get in another synths (PCM too).
