Well, I think the downtown studio in Paris (the one shown in this vid) is mostly used for mixing and mastering.

Though, I'm not sure on this one. Maybe he has 2 full-sized studios...

BTW: Another of those mixing desks is in the other studio in the outskirts of Paris, in a room seperated from the main studio room. I've seen a picture of it, Bruno Mylonas behind the desk...

This keyboard video looks like taking place on a set... is that a studio?

Lighting is great, and so is the angle. I can believe it's a studio, but the back plasma(/lcd?) makes little sense without properly located monitors - as in - "equidistant".

The video is top quality, as is the set and sound. Acoustics seem studio wise, and jmj's cell placement adds an argument to being a studio w/enough backspace to allow excelent light and angle.

I loved JMJ's extreme sensitivity to the color of the sound (always fine tuning the audio). His "syntex" chord was as dissonant as I expected , but his sharp aproach to filter/reverb are a definite real show of his talent and peculiar aprach to audio and sound design.

If it's comercial sinergies, it payed of... JMJ earned his pay because Roland just sold at least one VP550...

It looks like it's his studio located in Paris. Not 100% sure though...
