I was there together with another fan and we were really surprised that he gave us 20 minutes of his precious time. When the press promoter came in after 5 minutes, Jean Michel said: "I need 5 minutes more, I've talked too much!" And the promoter said: "I know, I know, as always..."
And we were the first to meet him. All the journalists came after us...
This was a really special day...

Pet Shop Boys does nothing but playback. I say it positively, I saw them live ; they did a so enjoyable concert.
Obvioulsy the vocal is not playback, but the intrumentals went through playback.

Not always, but yes. They don't even lie about it. As they've shown on their interview on 31 march:

im wondering about how the live concept for the tour is going to work
I've heard francis rimbert will not be participating, so that leaves claude samard and Jerome from the original in doors team (and Dominique Perrier) Aditionally, Jarre has stated that Joachim garraud is nw part of his musical family, so does that mean it will be him and jarred on stage and the other musicians are now redundant
im worried, as jarre to me had gained some credibility back for the in doors shows that were fantastically played live by the whole team

I know, this worries me too. I don't want to go back to the Water for Life, Soldidarnosc etc days which i just can't watch out of pure embarrassment.
Said this in another thread but given that Air are supporting him at the Bluedot festival, you'd think that we will see them together on stage at some point. A joint performance of Close Your Eyes would seem obvious...
