No, he didn't.
He has not wished us happy new year, but for the "globe" thru Cisac. Fans are not that important anymore.

I am also disappointed by his ignorance.

It costs him 1 minute to greet his 353,000 fans on FB. We are not worth unfortunately .
Sad.

It's a neverrending story. if Jarre leaves a message, there will be hundreds of fans asking for the new album, and, while he can't confirm, I prefer him to speak up when something concrete occurs.

Exactly. He is a musician, isn't he? He released studio album 7 years ago. So? Right questions.

Do you think that JMJ sends no greetings to the fans for the New Year , because he is afraid that fans ask about the new album?

I have no idea why he ignored us, but maybe you're right? Even if the reason would be weird.

But maybe he really has a problem to deal with it?

I have no idea, this is only a suggestion. Most important thing Jarre has to deal now with is to try to make creators live out of their art. I guess it's what this topic was about some time ago.

I still have mixed feelings over this.
After all, all of this stuff is coming from the man who once said "
Piratez Moi!".

Yes, "moi" means "me". He has thus made his own music for free use only. That's nice. Some artists do such a thing. For a variety of reasons. He is committed against the theft of intellectual property, which I find well worth supporting.

Retrospectively I was wrong about the happy new year message… You must be more patient in life…
