Could be because I am at work and this website is not allowed at break time.

I can't get there either

The way he has worded his post suggests he was standing next to or very close to Jarre to see such close up detail of what Jarre was using this synth for.

I like how Jarre tells the audience how he has re-created the entire album from scratch using the original synths. That's like a "chew on this Dreyfus" remark

Oxygene 5 was too different !
And not better...
It is not problem if Jarre change the music a bit, but do not kill it's atmosphere and "tune world" !
Anyway great perfrmance, the true JMJ !

Just spent the afternoon listening to the Glasgow concert..... now I really am going nuts...!!!!
If only we were adjusting our clocks to summertime THIS weekend - it would mean having to wait one hour less than right now....
Excuse me while I have another giddy episode torturing myself with a taste of whats to come.......

I know how hard it must be for all of you, the wait can be agonising.
My advice is not to go on to you tube and view any clips, rather keep them for re-living it when you come home.
Trust me, it's better and the music is fresher that way.
I envy all of you who have yet to see it. Patience, for some of you the wait is nearly over.I just wish I was able to go again,
Regards,
Joseph-John.

Why in Oxygene 12 is the lead line out of sync with everything else by a beat? Maybe there was a problem with the instrument or some sort of latency with monitoring

Just a bit of good old fashioned live playing! I think Jarre kind of lost the beat at bits. The mixing was a bit off as well. Oh well, who cares? If I wanted to hear it perfect, I'd have stayed at home and listened to the CD!
However, the bit where he grabs the stool with his foot during Oxygene 13 was very funny. He should goof off more often during his performances. I remember back 11 years ago on the Oxygene tour In Glasgow, he tried to play Oxygene 4 on the Nord only to realise the reason why it wasn't working was that the volume was turned down! And he admitted it to the crowd saying, "Ah, yes volume is good!"
