When you are declared bankrupt, a curator tries to sell everything that is left to gain enough money to pay the creditors.
So perhaps the curator didn't think this plastic 'thingy' was valuable, OR Jarre thought it had been sold, and never went back to the garagebox..
I've located the old adress of CICS, but I'm not sure if the garagebox is also there..
Two of the other employees were Patrice Etienne and Patricia Vandersteen (who assisted also Mike Mansfield with DD and PLDF).

But you're right, there also was the safety issue: there was only 1 main road to the site.
There was also a new instrument created for Jarre, designed by LAG, called the "Otineau".
It was a crossover between l'Insecte and the Clavier Circulaire (Mad Max).
By the way, the company that took care of the lasers and projections was also forced intro bankruptcy, because they could not receive payment from CICS anymore..
The total dept for CICS was about 1.7 million Euro (70.000.000 Belgium Francs).

What do these huge circular keyboards do other than light up ? because during concert footage, none of his hand positions correspond correctly to any sounds played.

I think they purely focused on how fancy it would look to perform with this one. Whether or not Jarre played any sounds on it is not a big secret, but from the clips in the beginning of the Houston video, they demonstrates that it does work with a soundmodule.

... they're placed exactly where they were before the restauration and when JMJ used it at his concerts.... (refer to any of the pictures with that keyboard)
