I thought the trousers are the best part, that's totally 80s nostalgic. He doesn't have long hair and green suit jacket, but at least the trousers are still weird.
It seems that Stone Island is the sponsor of this concert tour, which is why Jarre is constantly wearing clothes from that brand and showcasing its logo. Personally, I'm not a big fan of those clothes. They look a bit... too wrinkled. And since we're on the topic of clothing, does anyone know what shoes Jarre wears?
I think he wore all black, spikey Prada trainers on stage in Bratislava. But I cannot work out what brand the black and white trainers are that he wore in La Rochelle and on this tour too. Any ideas? I know in the past he's worn the French brand Palladium boots on stage for some of the Electronica era shows. "Founded in Lyon, 1947" is the Palladium boots slogan. One year later....

Ah yes, that's the guy Jarre was talking about. The artist from Hungary. Thanks.

At 3:48, when the strings and beat start, the Aero version features additional rising sounds. These sounds can also be heard between the main theme. I've always associated them with strikes on a metal pipe. In Poland, they were noticeable, but in Budapest, they are no longer audible. They only appear during the outro.
Indeed it seems to be gone or at least very quiet. I think I already heard it being extremely quiet on either Oslo or Helsinki recording, because I remember wondering for a minute which version it was.
And about that outro. Patience. In another 50 years Jarre will learn to play it perfectly.
For the time being it would be sufficient to make it a bit quieter and add a delay effect on it (or make the delay louder as I think it's already there, just barely noticeable), just like the original has. That would make those mistakes less obvious.

Thank you! I was going crazy trying to work out what brand these were As part of my "JMJ lookalike wardrobe" I ended up buying these adidas ZNChill Lightmotion+ trainers, the closest thing I could find, and much more affordable.
I actually think we need a dedicated thread on the forum about JMJ outfits ... his style, the brands, the look. From Pierre Cardin, to Kenzo, and on to Yohji Yamamoto, agnès b. Palm Angels, Issey Miyake and Stone Island and more.

Update on the Arena Pula, Croatia: The trucks have arrived and are unloaded, currently the stage is being setup with JMJs equiment. Tomorrow during the daytime the Arena is open for public to visit (10€ pp fee) untill 17h00. The rehearsals will be somewhere between 17h00 and 19h00. At 19h00 the doors to the Arena will open, Jean-Michel Jarre concert will start at 21h00, when the sun has vanished behind the horizon.
So, some of us decided to meet on a terras straight near the Arena, in the shadows of trees and s´unbrellas, and try to catch some of the rehearsals. The address of this location is Ul. Ozad Arena, Pula, the terras is part of Caffe Bar Le Resistance.
