Fortunately there is no such thing as a worldwide birth The comparison with birth and alll that doesn't make much sense.

Worldwide release was 1977, so worldwide anniversary should be 2007.

Surely, he could have done a france-only anniversary in 2006 as well.

He wanted to be faithful to his roots but there seems to be many new ideas going on with growing things and stuff....

To be honest, Jarre is no differant than any other artist out there. What he says and what he does are two differant things. We know Jarre's track record well. He has annouced a lot of projects then never followed them through due to one thing or another.

No garanties ofcourse, but on the other hand...has anybody actually heard JMJ saying loud and clear that this is the last album he will ever make?? To me he sounds more like a man still full of crazy ideas. :mryellow:

There is a lot of truth in that.

You have to admit, that JMJ has had a lot of competion from others over the years. He has remained on top form for most of his musical life. He's no spring chicken anymore, he's 57, so at some point even Jarre has to wind down. He could have easily jacked it all in years ago, but he hasn't. A very good testiment to his musical proness. Yes, I have to agree with that. On everything comes an end, even on JMJ's carriere... When we dunno, but it will be.

We can never say when he will retire from making music, it can be hard to decide for the person have to take that decision, maybe you can't say it. Nothing tells me that this should be his last album, so I am not thinking in that way

No sign of retiring whatsoever.

JM was in very happy about the concerts in Poland, and as far as I can see, he's still full of very creative ideas and all that. So I don't see why you would bring this topic of retiring up...?

Any new news... This was supposed to be out in December?

You really missed something . It's planned for march now.

I just hope we will see a release of the single within the end of this month.
