Some new information from SME, thanks to Lee Sainsbury

Box set - limited to 4000 copies globally, numbered

Vinyl edition - limited to 3500 copies (more might be possibly pressed depending on how the initial batch goes)

Final designs of all editions coming this Wednesday

No "live" versions (i.e. even Herbalizer and Coachella Opening are studio versions)

No tracks were lifted from existing Sony masters; all material was prepared by JMJ and his team, some had to be obviously reedited to fit the compilation, also this can possibly indicate that some tracks are reworked (quote: "Some of the tracks had to be altered to make them fit the product. Different versions were used on some of the tracks also. ")

Why make it limited? I understand printing it endlessly isn't a real possibility, but oply 3500/4000 worldwide? Yeah I hate that stuff...

Also I still can't order it in The Netherlands either.

This would've been nice, were it not that all remasters in the past two decades have been largely straight up garbage...

Edit: Seems Sounds have it up now. €55 for the boxset and €25 for both the normal and deluxe edition. They do not have the vinyl up.

Some information from Sony Music on this: Boxset and vinyl edition will indeed be limited.
Both contain a download code or card for 12 Songs in 5.1 PLUS the full Album as HQ WAV-file download. "We are Vinyl" is simply the provider who handles this for Sony.
Also I was told that Jean Michel has "freshly retouched" some of the tracks (which mainly means he has shortened them. It's still not clear if the music will sound any different).

... still not convinced enough to spend 22 euros (at least) for Coachella Opening + Herbalizer only, though. Here's hoping for more samples soon.

Lee has also confirmed that the WAV download will be available with the Box-set edition (not just vinyl edition). Whether this is a blatant CD master (likely), a vinyl master (yes please) or "depends on edition" (doubt it) remains to be seen. Heard.

The Digipack booklet is 24 pages, jewelcase - 12 pages.

* Chrono 1 is its "second part"
* Equinoxe 4 is not the recent tour version given the track length (tour version is shorter)
* Oxygene 20 does not include the organ intro and "Oxygene VI sous la pluie"
* Revolutions does not include the intro
* Equinoxe 7 is the tour version
* Ethnicolor - Images-like edit

And I guess that's that - no new Zoolookologie.
