(If anyone still has this, I'd love to hear it again)
Le Setyricon (TV show AFAIK)

This is amazing! And sounds very much like a TV show. A daytime quiz show?! Totally lacking the grandeur or the futurism of Equinoxe Pt 5, the album or live version, but shows what a brilliant melody it is. The arrangement reminds me of Band in the Rain (Unplugged) :D

It was a comedy show by Gérard Séty (hence the name), who did some sketches and impressions. JMJ did the opening tune and some background music (which was later re-used for a Gerard Lenorman song JMJ wrote for him).

Perhaps it's then a good time to grab it off youtube and store locally for future reference? ;)

I remember wanting to do this years ago and the radio playlist refreshing by the time I got around to it. So yea, I downloaded it yesterday already

The rapidshare link isn´t active anymore. Is it possible for anyone to upload these AOR snippets again? Or upload them in Nico´s Database?

Doubt it's anything great, but it's been such an interesting piece of obscure stuff I want to hear.
I'm sure it will come to light sooner than we think

Well...

let's talk hypothetically...

Suppose that I also have a copy of AOR (the full Jarre recording as there are other parts by Igor Wakhevich). A copy of the real thing as all the tracks fits perfectly with the snippets revealed years ago.

Suppose that few weeks ago somebody told me that a famous (should I say infamous?) seller of bootleg recordings was offering (not for free) a copy of AOR along with Dorian. Suppose that during the conversation we speculated about the way he got the recording... and it turned out that my interlocutor also had it. I don't know from where it should came at first (maybe somebody bought the work to the GRM/Ina or whatever) but is seems that AOR has been moving around in small circles... until somebody decided to make money out of it.

The thing is that the person who (supposedly) gave me the recording hasn't put any obstacles in my way of sharing it if you're interested but i'm not sure about the way this things works in this forum... I understand that links to copyright music are not allowed but I'm not sure about this case in particular. Please, let me know how could I share it if you are interested.

PS. A few months ago I would be thinking the same thing you're thinking right now if someone had told me a story like this, but... what if it were true?
