Yeah...but the church I've written about (Saint Katherina's church) was...is the oldest church in Gdansk and quite an important monument. Right now I've read that the roof is totally destroyed but the fire was finally put out, after 2 hours fight, and fortunately it seems there're no victims (although unofficial informations tells something about the guard from church's tower).
Also some exhibits that had been there probably suffered
I'm interested in the reason of the fire starting, there're speculations that it wasn't just an accident.
Anyway...my friends coming from Gdansk and this area are quite shocked about what has happened

I'm sure they're gonna try, but you know, how it is...the most important thing now is to rebuild the roof and try to save as much exhibits as it's possible. Fortunately all walls weren't totally destroyed...
And it was the second tme the Saint Catherine's church was burnt - it happened once before in 1905 (they rebuilt it then and in 1989 there was a complete restoration made).

What a fire! If just they get control of the fire, I could think they would restorate it.

It's a second day of this weekend...
They should take their driving licenses away, Polish law is much too tolerant for drivers

With the time I spent on it I hope I'll have them ! But the first part was rather easy, we will know results the 6th of July

What teases me is that I wondered why they didn't play "Cold as ice" by Foreigner on the radio. Exactly when I concluded it would be cool if they played it, someone called to request it... FR34K3D!!

Why do the manufacturers have to wrap in all new DVD and CD movies/boxes/albums i plastic? Sometimes so bloody vacuum tight that it has destroyed the cover of the product itself.
Rubbery, stubborn stupid plastic everywhere -to hell with it... I've had it up to heeeere!

Uh, I actually prefer when they're packed in plastic, rather than not when you buy something from a shop and then they're full of other people's fingerprints and such
