What did you think "the copyright of this sound recording is owned by AERO Productions, under exclusive licence to warner music" meant?

Well. Not all tracks from Marginy + Oxy Tour were 100% new. Some old tapes with sequences wee used. But i supose Dreyfus is only interested in New Master Recording where all old tapes were used

I'm talking about a total control over distribution,Logistics,financial matters,Marketing and all the other dealings of where copyright distribution come into play to which the Licensee deal with in the respective country,

AERO productions is the same as the JMJ/Dreyfus Brand which is plastered all over the older Album.EMI and Sony are merely a means to an end to where AERO productions simply don't have the weight behind them to be able to do marketing and all the other donkey work that a Large label would do so they license the product out to a larger subsidary who have more market Domination

This is where I'm talking about a total independent label run by JMJ not just a management Level criteria,AERO Productions don't work Like a distributor,they are simply a company who trades under a Name brand but works with another company who do the Work for them,in this case EMI,otherwise he wouldn't have needed EMI,AERO productions is simply just a Brand name for Jarres entourage and to which his Music copyright it owned its certainly not a Label

If he had his own label he could take care of every aspect of it

I suppose all sounds from Marigny and the DVD were 100% new, if not live then recorded before the actual show.

So how many successful bands and artists of the past (and maybe present) have their own labels with total control like that?

Dreyfus must have known about this for months and could have acted a lot earlier. If he really thought that JMJ had used the original material all he to do was take out an injunction against MOS to prevent it releasing the CD.

I don't belive in loss of sponsors.
The tour has been waited for long time and tickets are being sold well.
If tour will be succesful, sponsors will remain.

I have only heard about smaller electronic music producers. They have kind of a netwok. Especially in The Netherlands you'll find alot, though i don't know how much control they have. There are labels like Viewlexx, Bunker Records and Clone which are mainly owned by musicians. No matter what this is on a lower scale.

I just checked up on labels like Interscope and Death Row, but they are owned by Universal now. It seems like most of these labels owned by musicians, are somehow related to the bigger companies.

Last year I put a caption to this image. So, after recent events, I think I will come back to that caption again as it seems to fit.

It does seem like Dreyfus is hacked off with the recent 'Mail On Sunday' give away cd's. He hasn't come forward until now, and right ontop of the free promo's.

JMJ can get away with this. The new Oxygene sounds a lot like the old one, that's true, but it's a few minutes longer, sounds different here and there, noise and crackles at other times, and the same instruments are used. And they are used by the same artist. Why shouldn't it sound a bit like the original?

Was the old master tape in 24bit/96kHz?

If not, don't you need to re-record it to achieve this?
