I know where I got the PPG from. One of the live vids of have of the AON playing 'Close To The Edit' they have both the PPG and Fairlights on stage. You see a quick shot of Anne Dudley playing, but I thought it was on the PPG, it's not, it's one of the Fairlights.

Great job, many thanks for the samples! I really do like the idea of simply dragging and dropping sound files into a hard drive and they are magically converted to a tweakable patch. Is it really that easy? If it is, I'll probably go grab a Fusion a soon as I get back in the states.

There is a free sample set on the Hollow Sun site that I tried last night. But I must be doing something wrong. No error came up saying it didn't load to the Fusion, but I can't find it on the Fusion so it must not have worked.

I'll keep trying.

Thanks for the demoes Mr. Tung!! Yes this machine is very 80´s like! But I kind of like that! I looove the 80´s!!

What I´m looking for at the moment is some synths for setting up a homestudio. I´m a bit into the Fusion HD88 as my mother keyboard (How noisy is the harddrive? I heard some ppl talk about it on YouTube). Also I´m looking into the Prophet 08 (This is a machine I definetely want!! It sounds awsome!). And also the new Virus TI Snow. Then of course I will fill up the computer with a bunch of softsynth etc.. All on a IMac 24´.

We´ll see..

You hear the odd sound from it when you go from preset bank to preset bank, but apart from that the hard drive is quite.

I love the 80s songs, so this machine is right up my street.

Why not consider a Mac Pro with two 22" displays

(OK it's much more expensive...)

That's what I have currently in mind for my forthcoming studio set up (still a few months to think about it and maybe change my mind).


P.S. : About the "ARR" sound, I think a good example of that sound is "Moments in love" from Art of Noise (if I don't mix it up with a cover version).

I play a bit of the Art Of Noise "Moments In Love" in my Fusion demo on he other page.
