For those Jarre fans wanting to come down but are put off by the cost I have two double airbeds, a sofa and a bed roll. I can fit upto six people in my flat (it's a bit of a squeeze and you'll all get to know each other a little better but it'll help keep the cost down).

Yeah, I am wondering about going for the £55... but over £60 is too much.

How much (if any) does Jarre have in the say of the ticket prices. Surely it's not down to him to make up the prices. This is no back street social club gig. This is the RAH. The Paris concerts were not a one off, so as he booked that theatre for 12 nights, his management would have worked on some kind of discount. But the RAH concert is a one off. They may have knocked some off, but it could be a differant matter if he was performing for more than one night.

You never know. Less sales may just force the ticket prices down closer to the time. . . . . Then again it could just make Jarre make his mind uo to never play in the UK again.

I would love to agree with you but a quick look through the RAH schedule shows this not to be the case. There are a whole series of one off's in March and April from some well known artists (including Mark Knopfler, Chris Rea and Ali Campbell) and Jarre is the most expensive ofthe bunch. Ali Campbell's gig may be comparable in price but he's got a whole host of guest artists turning up and it looks like it would be much better value.

I'll be going along but I feel ripped off.

RAH is not a one off, it's part of a tour....

As for the money... getting there and booking a hotel is a bigger part of the budget anyway..

I think that the reason that these prices are so high because of other reasons. And I'm completley sure that it's against Jean Michel's wishes.

Brixton Academy : Kraftwerk & Tangerine Dream played there

Earls Court : Pink Floyd did the Pulse DVD there

Both would have been better venues for atmosphere, intimcay, soundwise.

Both are small venues easy to fill.


I feel JMJ chose RAH as it is well known and has prestiege.

It is a large venue ... I feel there will be empty seats.

I sure hope JMJ has been practicing. Because if he duffs up, the English press may crucify him

I know exactly what a tour is, but if he's not returning for another nights show at the RAH, then it's a one off. I'm not speaking "one off" here in the same capacity as a 'City In Concert'.

Earls Court fits over 20.000 people - means it is the largest among listed... Neither Brixton is much smaller - only by about 500 men - with capacity of almost 5000 people...

RAH has capacity of 5544.

Looks like Jarre' getting his revenge for all the bad comments we made about TEO & TEA !!


It'll be interesting to see how many of these tickets end up on eBay at an inflated price.

Yeah, I'm wondering the same - how fast are these tickets gonna sell out due to the shitehawks buying about 50 of them then selling them at double the price... Terry Tibbs attitude if anyone here's ever seen Fonejacker.
