Big time wrote:Jarre never were and never will be "Too serious"! And thank god for that! :D
Jean Michel just staying in front of his synths and telling himself : "Hey ! I'm gonna act like a child" (a bit of Picasso trying to draw as a kid) ?
In fact, Jarre's album display several moods. We have lots of fun with mostly Jarres' compositions (such as the Zoolook album, which is quite a laughter for my sake). But he can get into serious from time to time, with the same brightness (I'm specially thinking of Metamorphoses, which has a really dark feeling to it).

Since he got involved in the UNESCO, his concerts have to pull up with more "thoughts", and maybe less "fun". My point is that you cannot connect childhood or environemental issues with music that reflects a "fun" attitude towards music (looping tapes, freaky noises). The last funny tune till' T&T is Calypso 1, IMO. And now we have Vintage or Téo & Téa, that crafts similarities to Rendez-vous IV, and I'm excited to see how he can bring them to stage, among his classics.

im still listening to the album..
Not very much :pwned:
Often when i play it i hear: OK, do it fast, Vintage and Melancholic Rodeo..
The other songs are ok, but i Always skip beautiful agony. Even if i like it very much, but i really start to mislike the female voice.. :punch:

Listening to Téo & Téa tonight after a long break and.... it's great!

Great energy, very fun and it reminds so much of this great French album which remixes the songs of the film music from Jacques Tati:

yes it is nice, but could be much better. and if someone asked if I want T and T #2 or nothing at all, I would prefer nothing cause this album didn't add anything to his greteness if not took a part of it (thanks to critics and sales  )

agreed. he'd had better have never done that... like I said... TTR and the 3 following tracks are OK at best and could've been kept for release as demos/b-sides on some compilation, but the rest is much like a bad effert in my taste...

I still like the album 8) even though it’s release is over a year old. I don’t suppose we will be seeing Téo and Téa anytime soon. :(
