You know it's just an idea but maybe a camera thingy thread should be opened in the offtopics section. You and
are very good potential leaders for opening a thread like that. So what do you think?

Absolutely a very good idea...I just have to figure out how to start it.
I think it might have to cover a pretty large spectra, if you know what I mean.

Recently downloaded a couple different versions of the complete Beethoven symphonies, to see which one I should put on my Amazon wish list:
1. David Zinman/ Tonhalle Orchester Zurich, and
2. John Elliot Gardiner/ Orchestre Revolutionaire et Romantique.
Both are "period" style performances, though Zinman uses modern instruments. Both very good, but I think I prefer the Gardiner.
