The theme is nice. But you can make much more of it. I like the portamento at the arpegio's! Like GJ said, it lacks bass. Add a bass, a second arrangement, nice eminentstrings and a strong solo! Maybe a lo-fi groove...

Does anybody know, does Roland offer "unused" parts for jp8000?

That's unlikely. I talked to a guy cause I was desperate to get myself a new sidepanel for my JD, and he told me they had ditched those spare parts yeeaars ago. He told me they only keep parts of synths not older than 3 years. Then again this may differ from country to country, as I remember some guy from the old forums who had got himself some spare JD knobs off Roland UK.

I asked the same question from Roland Finland, and they said that manufacturer have to keep spare parts on their stock about 5 years after the production has ended, and all of the JP8000 parts are maybe still available.
